03 / How it works
Three steps. None of them ask who you are.
A conversion is a few seconds of CPU work. Everything below happens on your machine, in the tab you already have open.
- 01
Open the tool page
Each tool is its own route — /tools/heic-to-pdf, /tools/compress-pdf, and so on. Nothing loads in the background, there is no SPA shell with a hidden uploader.
- 02
Drop the file
The picker hands the browser a File object. We read it with FileReader and decode it with Canvas, WebAssembly or a PDF library, all inside the tab.
- 03
Download the result
The output is generated as a blob and offered as a download. Close the tab and the in-memory copy is gone — there is no copy elsewhere to delete.
Frequently asked questions
No. Every tool runs in a current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Nothing is installed and no extension is required.
